Terpas

Context

A firm in Barcelona’s Eixample that has handled tax, payroll and legal work for SMEs, sole traders and resident foreign nationals since 1992. Six service areas under one roof, and two offerings they wanted to foreground: telematic company formation as an official PAE point, and an organisational intervention department.

That was the architectural challenge: six very different services without the homepage turning into an unreadable index.

Approach

• Hierarchy before completeness. The hero says what they do and since when; the six services are listed in a single line of text, not six cards competing for attention. What gets promoted to top-level navigation is “Form a company”, the commercial front door.
• Astro with Preact islands hydrated on client:visible. Interactive components don’t load until they scroll into view. Everything else is static HTML.
• Concrete trust signals under the hero: physical address, founding year and official PAE status. In advisory work, trust is demonstrated with verifiable facts, not adjectives.
• GSAP with ScrollTrigger for reveal pacing, and View Transitions for page-to-page continuity.
• Self-hosted Geist Variable as woff2, one family covering display and body.

• DNS and deployment: A record pointed at the host while leaving the client’s corporate email MX and TXT records untouched

Outcome

Live since July 2026. The detail I’m happiest with is infrastructural: the domain sat with another registrar and email ran on Google Workspace. Only the A record moved, leaving MX and verification TXT records intact. The client’s email didn’t drop for a single minute during the migration.
